3D Tester Digital – Digital 3D Touch Probe for CNC Machines

The 3D Tester Digital combines digital and analogue displays to provide accurate, reliable readings when setting up workpieces on CNC milling machines. The digital display shows precise numerical measurements, while the analogue pointer allows you to follow the probe’s movement visually. This dual-display design makes readings easier to monitor, particularly when the display changes rapidly.

Accurate CNC Workpiece Setup and Alignment

The 3D Tester Digital makes it quick and easy to locate workpiece zero points and measure positions in all three machine axes (X, Y and Z). It can also be used to align workpieces, vices and fixtures accurately with the machine axes, helping to achieve precise and repeatable machining results.

An integrated, multi-colour LED indicates the probing status, helping to prevent excessive probe travel and reduce the risk of damage to the instrument.

Compact, Waterproof Design with IP67 Protection

Designed for everyday use in demanding machine-shop environments, the 3D Tester Digital features a slim, compact design that provides convenient access when setting up workpieces. Its IP67-rated waterproof protection helps protect the instrument against dust and water ingress.

Each 3D Tester Digital is supplied with its own serial number and test certificate for identification and quality assurance.

Simple Operation and Automatic Switch-Off

The probe switches on automatically when the probe tip is moved in any direction along the X, Y or Z axis. When left unused, it switches off automatically after two minutes to conserve battery power.

Supplied Accessories and Replacement Probe Tips

The 3D Tester Digital is supplied ready for use with a CR2450 battery and a Ø3 mm ceramic probe tip. Both items are available separately as replacement parts.

Like the other probes in the 3D Tester range, this model features a clean, slim design and is compatible with the familiar ceramic probe tips fitted with carbide balls in Ø3 mm and Ø6 mm sizes.
